LinkedIn secured a court order against ProAPIs and affiliated operator Netswift, which had been harvesting member profile data at scale and reselling it. Under the settlement terms, the companies must halt sales and transfers of the collected information, stop using fabricated accounts to reach the platform, and destroy what they already gathered.
