Data Broker Radaris Loses Domains in Privacy Fight

People-search operator Radaris, known for disregarding opt-out and deletion requests, was sued under a New Jersey law that penalizes data brokers for posting personal details about law enforcement officers. After what the court saw as evasive conduct from the company's lawyers, a judge directed that Radaris.com and more than a dozen affiliated people-search domains be handed over to the plaintiffs.
