Cities terminate Flock contracts at record pace in August

Figures gathered by a California-based anti-surveillance group indicate that a growing number of U.S. cities and towns are canceling their agreements with license plate camera vendor Flock Safety. Places such as Lansing, Michigan and Pflugerville, Texas have walked away, citing worries about excessive surveillance, data being shared without consent, and cost.
