Sweden's privacy authority IMY penalized IT provider Milj\u00f6data with a fine of roughly $183,000 (1.8 million SEK) after finding the company's security safeguards insufficient. The lapse contributed to an August 2025 incident that exposed the personal information of about 2.2 million individuals.
