Popular travel app used by 23M lets anyone spy on users, including soldiers

An investigation reported by Gintaras Radauskas found that the travel-tracking app Polarsteps, with roughly 23 million users, left location information openly accessible. The exposure reportedly allowed outsiders to pinpoint users' movements with accuracy down to about a meter, including trips taken by military personnel.
