Canadian Man Pleads Guilty in Snowflake Extortions

A 26-year-old man from Ontario has admitted guilt to charges of computer fraud and conspiracy tied to intrusions and extortion attempts against more than 165 companies that stored data with Snowflake. Among the stolen material were call and text records belonging to over 100 million AT&T subscribers. He had been characterized as one of the year's most significant cybercriminal figures.
