Identity verification is explicitly required \u2014 either a government photo ID copy or at least three data points they already hold (sometimes more, plus a signed affidavit); they say they confirm receipt in ~10 days and respond within 45 days (up to 90 with notice), and after an opt-out they may re-ask for authorization after 12 months. New Jersey/West Virginia "Daniels law" non-disclosure requests must be sent by email to that same address.
