If you have an Ancestry account, you can download or permanently delete your trees, DNA results, or the entire account yourself from Account Settings (deletion is irreversible and also destroys your stored saliva sample). Targeted-advertising opt-out is handled separately via the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the site footer (Ancestry also honors Global Privacy Control), and removal of records/content about you or a household member, biological sample destruction, or other privacy complaints require contacting Member Services or [email protected].
